Chocolate Truffle Cake with Coffee

Celebrate National Coffee Day with the perfect pairing: decadent chocolate truffles infused with the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee.

INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. To make the cake, mix flour, cocoa powder, sugar, oil, eggs, vanilla, and coffee. Bake in the oven at 350°F (175°C), in two round pans for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  2. For the filling, heat cream, melt chocolate chips, add butter and coffee liqueur (optional). Let cool.
  3. For the frosting, heat cream, melt chocolate chips. Let cool slightly.
  4. And to set up, place one cake layer, add filling, place second layer. Frost and decorate.
  5. Pair your decadent chocolate truffle cake with a freshly brewed Sierra Nevada coffee for an unforgettable experience.
